Come hang out with us in Central Park! We'll be decorating paper bags for Heart of Dinner (愛心餐), a nonprofit that fights food insecurity and isolation in the Asian American senior community.
We'll have a bunch of paper bags for you to illustrate with drawings and messages of positivity. These bags will later be used by Heart of Dinner to deliver hot meals, pantry essentials, and fresh groceries to Asian American elders in the NYC area.
All adoptees are welcome, though we encourage those under 14 to have a parent or guardian present. Decorating supplies are limited, so if you've got crayons, markers, or other decorating materials, feel free to bring 'em!We'll meet at the Columbus Circle entrance to Central Park at 1pm EDT on May 14. *In the event of rain, the event will be rescheduled to May 28.
