GAza ceasefire statement

Message from the Board:

During times of intense global strife, we reckon with the positioning of the organization in larger conversations.

In light of current events and as members of an adoptee/adoptive community, we call for an end to the violence that has led to the separation of families, profound suffering, and loss of life in Gaza and around the world.

We affirm support for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
We condemn all acts of bigotry, including acts of Islamophobia and antisemitism.
We call for the preservation of human life and dignity across the globe.

Our community includes a diversity of perspectives, and we have grappled with the decision of when to speak up and how we collectively want the organization to continue its transition and growth.

We want to thank our CAA community for holding us accountable during these challenging times and encouraging us to continue examining our operations, partnerships, and values.
