Join us for a virtual panel on Chinese Language Learning. This panel is specifically aimed at Chinese adoptees who are pursuing Chinese language learning as adults. We welcome both those interested in learning how to get started and those who have been studying for a while and are looking into next steps. A panel of adoptees will discuss their experience learning Chinese and any advice they have on pursing language learning.
Some topics we hope to cover include: the experience self studying Chinese, taking the HSK, difficulties specific to Chinese adoptees, studying abroad, and pursuing graduate school in China
The panel will last from 9-10 pm Eastern time. Afterward some panelists will stick around in breakout rooms to answer any questions.

➡️ Primarily for Chinese adoptees interested in Chinese language learning. Parents and allies of adoptees may attend if they are interested in learning more about the topic, but are asked to prioritize the space for adoptee voices and perspectives.
