FCC GIRLS CONNECT 2019-2020

FCC Girls Connect in its 12th Year!!!

FCCNY Girls Connect Program is open to FCCNY girls (from any region) aged 8yrs - 14yrs. and High School Aged Teen Mentors 15+.  This ongoing program will be held monthly, September through May, one Friday per month from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.

This year Girls Connect is going to split into two groups.

Middle Schoolers will meet once a month at the home of Maya Mau in UWS Manhattan.  We will have dinner and work on a project at each of the monthly meetings, and are hoping to get input from the girls as to what projects they would like to work on.

Elementary school age children will rotate homes of the participants.  Last year's host Cary Barker will host at least two sessions on the UWS.  We also have other parents who have volunteered to either host or facilitate a session.  The group will likely be not larger than 8 and could be as small as 6. Each month's activities will be varied but will always include dinner and either a cooking project (making Chinese dumplings, pizza, crepes, ice cream etc.) or a craft project or games.  If you would like to sign your child up but have too small a space to host, you are welcome to facilitate a session at another mom's home.

We also require some High Schoolers to serve as Teen Mentors.  Mentors also have time to meet and hang out with their peers.  We will provide Community Service letters as needed.

Full series price for each child 8-14 yrs: $175 (9 sessions, September through May)

High School Mentors: $50 registration fee

You must have a current FCCNY 2019 membership to participate in this program. You MUST login to register.
