Dear CASPY Community,
Hello! Our names are Nicholas and Michelle, and we are thrilled to be hosting the 2019 Spring CASPY event at Columbia University! We invite you to join us for a full day of fun activities and events to create a more connected community and build cultural identity.
What is CASPY?
On the 31st of March, Columbia University's Taiwanese Students Association will be hosting our annual CASPY (Chinese Adopted Siblings Program for Youth) program. The day will consist of cultural workshops such as Arts and Crafts and Movement, group discussions, and various Columbia performance groups for the children to enjoy.
Furthermore, there will also be a parent workshop with a panel of college students who will share their experiences with their identity, which we hope parents can draw insight and support from. If there are any other families which would be interested in the program, please feel free to forward this email to them!
If you are interested in joining us for CASPY 2019, or know of any families that might be interested, please fill out/send along this registration form:

- What is CASPY -
Columbia University's Taiwanese American Students Association is hosting their annual Chinese Adopted Students Program for Youth (CASPY). CASPY is a program designed to engage adopted Chinese children from the ages 6 to 13 in activities focused on Asian culture and identity. By pairing college age "big siblings" with attendees, CASPY fosters a one-on-one learning environment that uses performances, discussions, and fun to provide children with an exciting and educational exploration of their heritage. Furthermore, there will also be a parent workshop with a panel of students sharing their experiences with identity, and answering questions.
