Join Cooper Hewitt for the Teen Design Event of the Year!

Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum is hosting its 11th annual Teen Design Fair, where teens talk with top designers working in the fields of fashion, product design, architecture, graphic design, and more!

The winners of the 2016 National Design Awards and designers from leading companies will be available to answer questions about possible careers paths, discuss the challenges designers face in the studio, and share what they love about their work.

Past speakers include Tim Gunn and Milton Glaser, as well as designers for Facebook, Ann Taylor Loft, Kate Spade, Nike, Kenneth Cole, Heath Ceramics, Van Cleef & Arpels,  Smart Design, Pentagram, Rocawear, and Herman Miller.

Cooper Hewitt’s DesignPrep is a series of FREE teen workshops, studio tours and college visits, which focus on all forms of design from fashion and architecture to product and graphic design. As part of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, our programs promote design thinking and offer students from all backgrounds an opportunity to experience what it is like to work as a designer while developing college and career skills.
