Celebrate the Lunar New Year with us! Deepen your connection to your child’s heritage while making friends with other adoptive families. Through fun, hands-on activities led by the China Institute, your child will learn about Chinese art, language, and culture by designing a porcelain bowl, singing songs, playing a fun game using chopsticks, and writing Chinese characters. Enjoy a delicious Chinese meal, which will include special Lunar New Year treats. You won’t want to miss this fun family gathering! Parents and Chinese adopted children are welcome to attend. Suggested age for the activities is 6-11 years old, but siblings can also join in on the fun.
