Stereotypes often mask the complexity and diversity that exist within each population. Gain a deeper understanding of the Asian Pacific American (APA) student experience and multicultural education as you discover the origin and impact of the “model minority” myth through gallery activities, guest speakers and facilitated discussions.

Create and obtain classroom resources and teaching strategies as you collaborate with peers, APA advocates, and community leaders to deconstruct stereotypes rooted in history, legislation, and social structures.

Tickets: $20 per person, $16 members
