*An Adoptee/ Parent Discussion*
Join us on Wednesday, April 21st from 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. EST for our next Adoptee Narrative Talk: Accessing Mental Health Services. During this one-hour fishbowl-style discussion, we will discuss ways Adoptees and Adoptive Parents cope with mental health issues, institutional barriers faced when accessing healthcare, and help to provide resources available in seeking mental health services.
With the rise in Anti-Asian hate crimes over the course of this past year, we feel that now is more important than ever to create safe spaces for all within the adoptee community to discuss mental health issues and share resources with each other.
This event is open to Adoptees ages 13+ and Adoptive Parents. Those under 16 years of age will need a parent or guardian to join.
