Holt International Adoptee Camp
In addition to typical summer camp activities, one of the unique and exciting parts of Holt camp is that all campers and counselors are adoptees. Holt camp is generally one of the only times when adoptees are surrounded solely by other adopted people. The emphasis of Holt camp is on issues relevant to transracial adoptees, including identity and race. Our curriculum provides about an hour per day (in total) in large and small groups to discuss these issues. Our goal is to provide a fun and safe environment for campers to express their feelings about what can sometimes be sensitive topics.

Holt International Adoptee Camp will provide an environment of physical and emotional safety, self-discovery, and fun. Within a community of adoptees, campers will share their common experiences while exploring issues of adoption, race, and identity development.
