FCC marching in Flushing LNY Parade in Queens, NY

OCA Long Island has invited us to march in the Flushing Lunar New Year parade on February 21st. The parade begins at 11 AM, but we're meeting up at 9:30 for a pre-parade reception (FREE but registration is required at http://www.eventbrite.com/e/lunar-new-year-parade-pre-event-reception-tickets-15303746919). This pre-parade event is hosted by the Flushing Chamber of Commerce. Hope you can join us!

Lunar New Year Parade in Flushing, Queens

Celebrate 2015, the Year of the Sheep, by participating in the famous Lunar New Year Parade in Flushing, Queens -- the most diverse community in New York City!

If you wish to March with the OCA Long Island and Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce, meet at their office (39-01 Main Street, Suite 511) between 9:30 and 10AM for some hot coffee and donuts ...

The parade lasts about an hour; dress warmly and in layers; bring signs and banners. There are indoor cultural performances after the parade and tons of amazing food everywhere.

Route: Begins, Union St and 37th Ave and usually ends at Main St and 39th Ave.
